SoundCloud: Discover New Music App Reviews

I have been using SoundCloud for over a year and I’m very satisfied. Now, I logged on and my subscription is gone. All my music is still there but none of it’s downloaded and saved. When I try to put my subscription back on, it tells me my payments invalid and I already own the subscription. My username is cole-wilson-42. Please have this fixed and my rating will be back to 5 stars

I love soundcloud. I am just highly recommending you have an update where users can queue songs like you can on apple music and spotify. Otherwise soundclouds great just please add the ability to queue tracks.

It’s now littered with ads every other song (literally). Just use Spotify. Better support and way better underground community.

I recently had an android phone and there are features that don’t exist on iOS like adding a song to up next or seeing in a list what other songs will play as you listen

I never found updates to make apps increasingly worse until I used SoundCloud. As of the last one, songs can take up to 3min to start (I have tried on and off wifi) and, when the next song comes on, it just will not start unless I manually press ‘play’. Please fix this or I will be jumping to Mixcloud/Spotify.

I used to have a Samsung and i used Soundcloud on it and i would use add next up for the order i want my music and to add songs to the list but with the iPhone 6s you cant do that i hope you guys can add it to the lower IOS devices it was so useful

Some times you just wished certain apps would just be left alone without updates because they worked so perfectly before. SoundCloud is one of them. I stopped using SoundCloud because it had an error with login for a long time and I didn’t have the patience and now it’s has other errors such as finding music due to connectivity and app freezing. It’s just not good. And I am annoyed because this platform has a lot of good artist but just bad app.

It would be great to just be able to change your profile picture on the phone. I don’t understand why this still isn’t a feature, it shouldn’t be so hard to do something so simple. Also when I go to my playlists and try to reorder songs to different spots, it won’t let me.

Its decent but god, is it really necessary for it to play ads after every song? Like come on, I understand the reasoning behind ads but playing them after every song is totally unnecessary. Low rating due to this

I used SoundCloud everyday to listen to music doing work. The most recent update, however, suddenly deleted over half of the songs in my 300+ song playlist. I don’t know how to get them back at the moment and it hasn’t seemed to be restored to normal yet. Other than that it works really well. EDIT: I just reinstalled it and everything seems to be fine now!

Lately it has been unusable. Constantly freezes, literally never functions properly.

I can’t edit my name or put on a profile picture can’t add a bio or anything. You guys should fix that. Although keep it up!

Why was the mini-player necessary? All it does is freeze the app whenever I play a song, it makes the app more laggy, and it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to use anymore! Go back to the old player! You wouldn’t want me to stop using your product, would you? This was Incase you decided to ignore my other review because it contained swearing. (Which to be honest is the stupidest reason I’ve ever heard of.) Fix this NOW. Sincerely, Emerald

Ive used SoundCloud for years and I have liked it for years but the amount of ads they force free users to listen to is insane, the same 2 ads play after each every song I listen to. I get they have to make money but why not an ad after a few songs, 2 hours go by and its like I get it Tim Hortons has a caramel latte, yes Lowes is cool, IDC I just wanna meditate to the songs I can feel. Im sorry but Im going to uninstall and maybe reinstall if I can afford to pay or if there arent as many ads. I will continue to use the website.

As a musician, I’m always on the go and networking with other artists is hard to do on the iPhone without the functionality to comment and message with other musicians. It would make things just a ton easier for folks. Android has that functionality, what gives?
