SoundCloud: Discover New Music App Reviews

Soundcloud WAS my favorite music app and the only app I listened to music on after Apple took my other music app off, but now Soundcloud messed up. The idea of Soundcloud was to have artists share their music freely and get peoples feedback. For people to freely listen to any and all music at no cost. No other major music app was like Soundcloud, and now Soundcloud wants to be just like the other music apps, the ones everyone hates. Having an ad pop up all the time unless you pay a ridiculous amount of money for it ($13) is stupid. And this "preview" system is even more ridiculous. I thought there was a glitch or bug on my app whenever I tried to listen to one song and I updated it only to learn that Im being cheated out of listening to one of my favorite songs because Soundcloud suddenly decided to charge people on songs. What a load of bull. This app has gone WAY downhill since I started using it. I put up with the comments being taken out and the features being changed but I dont think I can live through this.

The ability to see the description would be cool.. I want to see who follows me and who I follow in-app. Also, I would like to select what kind of notifications I get. I dont want to get a notification saying such-and-such posted a new track. I want to only see notifications on who likes or comments on one of my tracks or playlists and to get notifications on who follows me. Thank you.

I dont like having to pay to download music directly on my phone. So I try listening to music on YouTube but my phone has to stay unlocked. Then I downloaded an app called Spinrilla its awesome for regular music (not all songs) they even have hot remixes but in order to get my club music I am always focused to do one thing I cannot stand. I hate having to download a song onto my laptop and then transfer it to my iPhone. It takes up valuable space on my phone. SoundCloud gives me the joy of easily finding music I love, even some cool remixes. I add them to my favorites list and I can listen whenever I please. It doesnt take any extra space! The only fault I will say is sometimes when you are looking for the original version of a song, it either takes forever to find or you just get tons of remixes. Not too bad to claim about, being that I have Spinrilla.

Keeps crashing

one of the worst updates. I understand needing to add profits but 13$ a month? I dont mind paying a start up fee but 13$ a month adds up.

Such as clicking ur following/followers. Checking messages.. Pretty much the same features as the webpage.

They promised I could listen offline in the description but the feature isnt there
