Whilst the app is great there is something fishy going on

I have been using the Soundcloud app for a long time now, but recently something has really began to feel weird, which is why I have rated the app three stars, and that is the following, the music sounds "pixelated" while listening to music on the app with the phone speakers, the songs sound like if they were a 240p video on Youtube, it sounds horrible, and I have tested my way around this, I have played the same songs on safari and guess what, the songs sound good on the web, so I firmly believe the problem here is the app, I dont know if its a problem with the settings which I have checked but its not good at all, and I really love that the artists Im following post their music here, but the quality ends up being bad.
